I have a Catalinia S-30 pont bottle with DIN valve for sale. Manufactured 2/2010, last VIP was 4/12. It has been sitting in my dry basement full of air (not O2 clean) since July of 2012 or so. I'm moving and won't be diving, so they need to go. Complete with DIN valve. Located in Edgewater...
I have two single X8-130 Steel tanks for sale. Last hydro was 3/11 (so due now) and last visual was 4/12. They have been sitting in my dry basement full of 28% since July of 2012 or so. I'm moving and won't be diving, so they need to go. Complete with DIN valves. Located in Edgewater, MD...
So I'll be getting into Morehead, NC around noon - 1 on Friday May 14. I've called around and haven't been able to find any boats that are going out in the afternoon. Does anybody happen to know of one? Anything non-tec is fine.
thanks,
Dave.
I've been to Rawlings a couple of days & have not had any bad experiences with anyone. Rawlings has a lot of toys ( airplane, busses, etc) which I like. I don't know about Mt Storm - never been there.
Remember that Rawlings is a quarry, which = COLD.
I was looking at the state artificial reef guide and apparently there are two C-130's and a F-4 on Howard Chapin Reef (AR-330) near the USS Indras. Can anybody tell me what shape they are in? Is it worth going to see, or are they pretty much collapsed?
thanks,
Dave.
I think the issue you will run into is that the light sources that people put into head units run very hot and need a metal head to act as a heat sink. With a PVC head, the heat will build up and your LED / HID bulb will eat itself in short order.
I was going to start a new thread, but since this is here, I'll jump in. Can anyone compare the HOG to an Oceanic FDX10/Delta 4? I'm wondering if it would be an upgrade or about the same?
Cool - thanks to all. Doh! Saying 32% is what I get for posting first thing in the morning. 28% is PPO2 of 1.4. Sorry! I do know better. :)
So I guess the bottom line is that since you're on the way up, the difference between 21% and 28% isn't going to matter that much.
I do have a gas...
I'd be interested to hear peoples thoughts on a hypothetical situation I was considering on the way to work this morning.
Imagine I'm cruising along at the end of my 130' dive on 32%. I'm within my NDL and dive plan as I reach the ascent line. Just then, Neptune appears, decides he hates...
Subject says it all. I tried out my new tri-lam suit (Mares Polar-fit) in 44 deg water with a pair of wool long-johns, doubled smartwool socks, and a long-sleeve cotton henley. I froze badly, mostly my shoulders and torso. Legs were fine.
So I'm shopping for better undergarments. I see...
