    Halcyon Eos Light

Having some problems with my light. When I attempt to charge it, the yellow light shines on the charger for about a minute and then the green light comes on saying it's fully charged. If I turn it off and then back on, the light switches to yellow again and it starts to charge for another minute...

Whites Fusion Drysuit - Choice of Tech skin vs Sport skin?

So quattroluvr, you've had the suit for awhile now. What do you think of the it? I'm thinking of buying the tech skin as the bullet is too tight. Tried them on and loved the flexibility. How is the durability of the suit for you?

Manta Queen 3 or M/V Andaman

Have been on both. Same same but different. You'll pretty much go to the same dive sites so the only difference will be the boats layout. Both have great crews, food, and equipment. As for site conditions, I've dove the same sites and they have been dead calm to hold onto the nearest pinnacle...

    Tech Diving

Thinking of heading to Pattaya to dive the wrecks and was wondering if anyone can recommend a shop that does tech trips (not training) on regular basis? Love to spend a bit more time checking the wrecks out. As well, anyone know of any regular tech trips run in Thailand in late April, May or...

    Indonesia in May

Wanted to get some opinions of where to go for Wreck Diving, Technical Diving and recreational diving in Indonesia during the month of May and why you chose those dive sites. Doesn't have to be all one spot. I've got time to travel around. As well, any particular dive shops you like best? All...

Koh Tao Dive shop recommendation for OW (PADI)

All divers should be happy to see that a dive operator is not relying on a cert card or even log books to determine how good a diver is. When I chose Master Divers, the fact that they make safety a priority was the reason I first used them. I've seen several divers that have been diving since...

Tech Diving Courses - Looking for suggestions on an instructor

Hey everyone, Just wanted to get some opinions on who you would recommend for Tech Courses (PADI Tec Deep or TDI equivalent) in either Phuket/Khao Lak area or Koh Tao area and why. I've got a few great names already but would love to have some more info to help confuse the decision making...

Light Monkey/Salvo 21w HiD or Sartek 35w HiD

Both lights are in great condition so I can't use that as a deciding factor so it comes down to the fact that the 21W may not be bright enough during the day dives that we are always on. I've seen both in action but never together. I guess I need to take them for a dive together to decide.

Light Monkey/Salvo 21w HiD or Sartek 35w HiD

I know I'm not comparing apples to apples due to the different wattages but I am faced with two offers, both which sound like good deals (thank god for having good dive buddies for friends). I dive in mostly fresh water lakes which can have visibility of 10 feet at the worst due to particulate...

    Tec Courses in Thailand

So where did you have the opportunity to dive with TechThailand, which I would assume would be Wilco and Ayesha? Funny enough, Wilco is my first choice to do my training with on Koh Tao. I was fortunate to be turned onto them by another S.E.A. dive operator and enjoyed my fun dives with their shop.

    Tec Courses in Thailand

Just wondering if anyone can recommend instructors in Thailand to do some Tec courses and why. I've found one or two that have piqued my interest but would love to hear others thoughts.

    Agency to book a liveaboard

Tyler, Look up Quero on Scuba board. She can help you book a live aboard. I went through her and she was fantastic.

Similan Islands and others on a Liveaboard

I have to agree w/ Scuba Jamie! I was on the Manta II and it was a fantastic trip. I'm cheap and wanted really good value for my money and with the help of Quero was able to book a spot after she provided me with answers to all (I had a lot) of questions. I suggest you send her a PM with all of...

    Manitoba Wrecks

That's part of the fun of it all. Just diving to try and find stuff. I say you and I go diving in Lake of the Woods and see how many stubbies we can find. Why in one dive, I had a 24 within minutes. With what we make at the vendor, we can buy an old boat and sink so we have something to dive on.

    Similian Live Aboard

Hey Everyone! I have read some of the other postings regarding LA's in Thailand and was wondering if anyone could provide some clarification for me? 1. Suggestions for lower budget live aboard for mid to late January 2011? How do they differ from mid-range boats? 2. Is it better to book...
