Funniest Diving quotes you have heard

Not SCUBA but just as funny. My wife just had a baby not home for more than a month. We met up with some family mid-way from both of us at a Hard Rock cafe to show off our new addition to the family. The nice lady who should us to our seats looks at our son and says "oh, what an adorable...

Thoughts on Air Integrated (hoseless) computers

When I asked what people thought about hoseless AI computers was if the majority of people that used one actually found it usefull and worth the money. And from what What I hear is that it is! Maybe adding an extra SPG to be safe. But adding anything else would be redundant, if my primary...

    Close call with a newbie

That was a pretty good story, everyone has the resident expert on everything at work we've got one even when you prove them wrong they turn around and say "thats what I was talking about all the time." My experience, if you have to tell some one how good you are you probably not. I am an...

    Should we take AOW now?

As a diver I agree 100% taking your AOW is really only buying a new cert card of things experienced divers could help you out with privately. But as a part time Scuba employee AOW is the best thing you can do, fill my class up and we will reassess your basic skills. Also if you plan on going...

Should I give up diving ?

Whatever it is see your doctor get ALL the necessary test, and let him tell you not to dive. I would go down kicking and screaming before I stop diving!

Seen this on an lds website and thought it was interesting

I have only been to that side of the country 4 times and only to visit family! My point was that smaller dive communities cater more towards local divers not the dive traveler! Repeat buisness not tourism!

What did you buy that you regret?

During the winter it was OK. But during the summer I didnt like wearing a hood so I tried pulling it back letting it drag behind, but there was to much drag and choking factor. so I cut it off, and than bought a hoodless wetsuit. and use the cut off hood for winter dives.
