Nice lighting. What strobe combination did you use. I'm using 2 Ikelite DS-51 and still don't seem to be able to get enough light. Any suggestions?

I just received my LX5, Ikelite housing, and DS 51 Strobe. I've been experimenting with macro, on land, and I can't seem to get the TTL to work properly with the stobe. Everything is grossly overexposed. Are there any special settings required?

Will the camera turn off an external stobe too, at close up macro? I'm retired, on a budget, and am trying to decide where to go with this. I have a Canon T2i that I've considered buying an enclosure for, but I can get the LX-5, Ikelite box, and strobe, for considerably less than using my Canon.
