Thanks for your tips! I'll try them out on the next dive trip. I did use the diffuser for the flash and I had the white balance set to auto - maybe I should change that to what Scubatooth suggested. /Mike

I went to a UW Video seminar at the Seascape diveshow in Houston in June and the guy used the colorbalancing on FCP. I was amazed with the improvement in the color of the video. I wished Premiere had a similar feature on the PC!! /Mike DiverGuy.com

Have you looked at the Ocean Images Inc (link) housings? They have electronic controls and are less than $1000. Also, the Top Dawg housing should be less than $1000 (seach google for it...) A one-chip is enough until you start make a business out of your UW video... I have an old Sony...
