Maaan, thats a bummer - I'll have to hold out hope that united or another carrier brings back direct flights this summer.

Are there any nonstop flights to CZM from any Southern California airports? There used to be a direct flight from LAX to CZM on Saturdays on United but I dont see those being available any longer. We're looking to go to Cozumel this summer, but really want a direct flight. Thanks.

Myself, wife and 2 young kids are heading to Cozumel in May (15-21). I'm curious if any other divers are going to be out there at that time. My wife is no longer a scuba diver so I'm looking to see if anyone needs a dive buddy (I have a little over 40 dives) Cheers!

Thanks for all of the responses. Based on the feedback we're leaning towards Belize - a few days on Amergis and a few on Caulker. Flights are too expensive to T&C, so we ruled that out. Flights to Grand Caymen are the cheapest (from So Cal) but I think we'd have to spend too much $ on the island...

My GF and I are both planning on going on another scuba diving vacation in late August. We've been to Riviera Maya and Cozumel (we love Cozumel). I've narrowed our choices down to Grand Caymen, T&C or Belize because the flights are fairly inexpensive (from LAX) compared to Roatan and Bonaire...

Has anyone shipped their SCUBA gear from the states directly to their hotel in Cozumel? I am worried about the airlines losing our luggage and I'd rather be safe an FedEx or UPS me and my GF's gear. anyone have advice? thanks
