I have thought a lot about the incident and what could have caused it. At least with dive gear there will be many clues as to how it could have happened. Air remaining, punctioned PCD, worn parts and the data in the computer.

I just got done doing the switch on the same reg to the MiFlex line. On the reg the shroud has two hole near the bottom where you can see small posts holidng it on. Peel back the shroud from these and it slips right off.
BTW after doing the switch it made a huge improvment and was WELL worth...
I have a close group of divers and we all (3) have the Cobra 2 and have no issues. We as a group always release the line pressure before we dissconnect the computer. I have seen others just dissconnect under pressure. Not sure if this has anything to do with it. Each computer has over 100 dives...

I and some others will be diving Vista Point tomorrow morning early AM. Their are also classes going so I am just reaching out to others to join. I hope to find a buddy to dive with other then students.
