**Brand New** Complete Ladies SCUBA Package

I am selling a complete Ladies SCUBA package that is brand new. None of the equipment has ever touched water. Bought this a couple months ago, but wife is now unemployed and we need money right now more than anything. This is top-of-the-line equipment and was purchased from authorized dealers...

    Reliable mailorder/ internet SCUBA stores

I too had a great experience with ScubaToys. Ordered two complete dive packages for my wife and I. I had a lot of questions and Joe was very responsive and courteous. I needed my equipment in a hurry and they even upgraded my shipping for me. They gave me a great price on both packages...

Most and least useful computer functions?

I also found that the Cressi Archimedes II is the same as the Tusa IQ 700, Zeagle N2ition, etc. The funny thing is though, the Cressi is about $120 cheaper than the others. And, I found some not so great reviews of the Cressi Archimedes II, but great reviews on the N2ition and the IQ...

Most and least useful computer functions?

Is the Tusa IQ-700 the same computer as the Zeagle N2ition? I have been looking at that one also, and I like the layout and features. I too am looking for something in the $300 range. Too many choices!!

New diver looking for gear advice

I too have been working on putting together my first dive package. I did a LOT of research online. Do I go with LDS, online retailer, eBay, Craigslist?? Lots of choices. I actually ended up going with ScubaToys, at the suggestion of another person here on ScubaBoard. They are an authorized...

    Dive computer recommendations

LOL. I actually didn't mention the Vytec. ;-) I would love the Vytec, but it is over $600 without the transmitter. Over $750 with the transmitter. I am trying to stay in the $300 or less range. Thanks though. :D

    Dive computer recommendations

I too am having a difficult time deciding on a wrist-mount dive computer. Trying to stay in the $300 range. I am looking at the following: * Suunto Gekko - $225 * Suunto Vyper - $299 * Oceanic Veo 180 - $225 * Oceanic Veo 250 - $275 It is very confusing, because I keep hearing good things...

    Reliable mailorder/ internet SCUBA stores

I just ordered two complete dive packages from Joe at ScubaToys. I was going to go with Divers Supply, but they apparently do not like to respond to emails and they don't respond when you click on their "Price Match" button on their website. Someone here on ScubaBoard recommended ScubaToys. I...

About to buy my first BC, and am now a bit apprehensive about buying Mares...

I have heard a lot of good things about ScubaToys....has anyone had any dealings with Joe Diver America? They have a really good deal on a ladies gear package right now and with free shipping. From what I see, they are also an Authorized dealer.

CODMAN, thanks for the heads-up. Those are things I have wondered. As for ScubaToys, how do we get the 10% discount?? Is there a code for ScubaBoard members?? Thanks.

About to buy my first BC, and am now a bit apprehensive about buying Mares...

That's funny because I also tried out the Seaquest Pro QD (non-i3 version) and loved the way it fit. I haven't tried it in the water though. The only concerns I have with LeisurePro are that they are not local and not an authorized dealer. I know they have been around awhile and that they...

About to buy my first BC, and am now a bit apprehensive about buying Mares...

Yeah, that is what I have noticed so far....every dive shop has the best equipment. I go to one shop, they say only buy this. Another shop says only by this one. Whatever it is they have in their shop is the best you can get, or so they say. ;) Thanks CODMAN.

CODMAN, I am just glad I was able make you laugh...that's all I really wanted to do! ;-) LOL. Yeah, I thought that was a pretty stupid comment the guy made, but then again, I have seen crazier things happen. The funny thing is...I have some of their tennis racquets. Forgot they were under...

About to buy my first BC, and am now a bit apprehensive about buying Mares...

I was at my LDS yesterday....the same one I got certified through. The guy working behind the counter made a point of recommending against buying Mares products. Please don't yell at me!! I know not to believe everything they say, in fact I have found this particular person to be fairly...

Sherwood Avid 2007 vs. Avid 2009

Thank you for the quick response. Just one more small question...does the Avid have the rolled neoprene around the neck, to prevent chaffing?

Sherwood Avid 2007 vs. Avid 2009

I apologize if this has already been posted. I searched the forum, but did not see anything regarding this. I am in the process of trying to get gear for myself and my wife. I am looking at the Sherwood Avid BCD, among others. I see that there is a 2007 model and a 2009 model, but I have...
