live aboard dive boats have one thing in common ... a charging station , and if you have seen them you know that they are a fire hazzard... everyone is charging for the next day and next dive ... these stations are a mess, wires and batteries everywhere.. you have No clue if someones Batteries...

i think this thread and topic is a good one and ive read Almost the whole thing and all the replies .. i never used a pony , and i didnt see the need for one or understand why a diver would use one if they planned a dive and dived the plan .. if a diver was safe , and and skilled , and followed...

i dont get your post ? i own the Yi camera and its a superior action cam , the video is amazing , and it out performs the gopro in many ways ... go on youtube and watch the reviews ... who ever that person is in the emails waterdog ? sounds like he doesnt know what he is doing when it comes to...
im not familiar with the Meikon lights , or how they work and function .. But as for the camera Housings they are built very well , very durable , and well designed for underwater photography .. and they price doesnt break the bank account .. when i emailed Meikon i got a quick reply from them ...
yep ... mine broke in a different place on the latch , mine cracked and blew out the long pin . there is a ton of force when you close up the housing and it seals down closed . they should update the housing with a metal latch system .
