Im looking to do some shore dives in or around NYC. I've done only beach 8th st in the Rockaways. Does anybody know of any other shore dive sites that would be fun to dive.

The regulator was in tip top shape. They even placed the parts they took out on a small bag and the parts looked new. The LDS should have been honest and tell me that I did not need a full service, that an inspection was good enough.

I will definitely give them a call. I just double checked the Aqualung website and the parts for the APEKS Regulators should have been free. Shouldn't the LDS know this. If I call them and they give me a hard time I will no longer purchase from an LDS, I will shop at LeisurePro.

I had it serviced from the same place I puchased the regulator, they are an authorized dealer. The name of the LDS is Pan Aqua in NYC

Im very sadden by the news of Steve’s passing. My condolences to all those close to him. He will be definitely be missed. This was a tragic death but he died doing what he loved to do. May he rest in peace.
