    Treasure ship PCB

Very Sad indeed. We loved seeing the ship. Also made it easy to find the marina for the dive boat.:(

Panama City Beach - Oct 2010

We had a great experience with Panama City Dive Center. In March my son and a friend did their openwater checkouts and I did a two tank boat dive with them. Great people been in business at least 23 years at the same location (I did my open water checkouts through them in 1987). Chris

Thanks Zak. I appreciate your time on the board! And thanks to everyone else. I got my computer wet (in the pool) and it made most of it way easier to understand. Chris

    My Puck Air Question

I have a Puck Air. Had it in the pool tonight for the first time. It worked quite well. However, I was going through the logbook function after the dive and I was sitting in low light. Should the backlight function in this mode? If so what am I doing wrong? Is there a setting I need to...

    Mares Puck Air/Nitrox Integrated Computer

    60 ft.

I get what you are saying, but what I think some of you are missing was that in 1987 with NAUI 60 ft was not a limit or even a recommendation. I am 99% sure of this. It was too long ago for me to be 100% sure. But when I did my checkout dives both my instructor and the independent dive...

    60 ft.

Well, I asked a question of the operator he answered and I did not discuss it further. As for a violation or the training standards like I said this was 1987 and there was no 60 limit. It was use common sense and dive within your own limits and your buddies limits down to 130ft. I also see...

    60 ft.

While I realize and agree that there are no Scuba Police, I think it stinks that an operator will pass of the 60ft as gospel. I have dived (dove) to deeper depths many many times (including my open water cert dives). I just don't believe that a cert card is the only measure of ability. Oh...

    60 ft.

When did 60ft become the "limit" for open water certification? I was certified in 1987 and the limit was 130ft. You were supposed to dive and learn and expand your boundaries. Now there are people who won't let you dive with them with basic open water, because we are going to 75 feet. Chris

Yes I will try it with a full tank and standard SPG. I was just curious if there was any specific tech info on the accuracy. B.T.T.T.=Bring Thread To Top. I wanted to make sure you saw it since I saw that you had replied to other threads in the same time frame. Thanks for responding by the...
