Plan a trip to North Carolina. We have plenty of sharks that you can dive with :-) Check out some of the dive blogs from Mike Gerkin and Olympus Dive Center in Morehead City from last year. It's not unusual to have more sharks on the wrecks than divers. And these are not the same "shark dive"...

Melissa, I'll second the recommendation for Olympus. Great dive operator and at this time of the year you'll have water temps in the low 60's and 30-40ft vis. Check their web site and Facebook pages, they regularly post dive reports.

For SC diving I recommend Express Watersports in Murrells Inlet just south of Myrtle Beach. Lots of good wrecks and a good charter operator. Plus if your significant other doesn't dive there is lots to do while you play with the fish ;-).

I've dove with Olympus out of Morehead City during the winter and the conditions vary according to location. Offshore wrecks are warmer (60's) and better vis than the inshore wrecks (50's). However, vis can vary from day to day and cane anywhere from a few feet to 20-30 feet. Hope this helps. Gary
