shallow dives in SE Florida or Keys

So, to get us back on topic... Kinda same boat here-haven't been wet in almost 2 years, but have advanced open water certs and round 150 dives and we own our own equipment but will be renting this trip. Amoray? The operator at the State park? Islamarada dive center? I like the shallower...

    Grand Cayman- East End advice

Did a dive with redsail last July and was not impressed. It was the operation out of Morritz. True glamour diving is down the street at Ocean Frontiers. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

So my kids want to snorkel Grand Cayman...??

Embarcadero beach is a nice place too. Tutrtle reef at the Macabuca bar would be fun as you could take a cab then spend some time there. Cool bar too. Monday has a great BBQ in the evening. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

Grand Cayman Diving - Sunset House as good as it sounds?

Take a look at the reviews on Tripadvisor. It is an easy shore dive, but you might get a little bored with more than a days worth of diving there. The mermaid is cool, swim on out to the landing craft and navigate back to the mermaid. Time it so that you see the submarine. There are better...

    Looking for advice

I too had a bad experience with Redsail. Did the kittywake with sunset house and I liked them. Out on the east end is ocean frontiers. First class diving. Great divemasters and interesting sites. And it is glamor diving at its finest. They will rig you up and rinse your gear and have it ready...

    Looking for advice

Dive stingray city. Its only 15 feet or so and a blast. I've got vimeo vids if you are interested. Also best shore dives are turtle reef at macabuca. And go on Monday for the BBQ. Lighthouse point is a great shoredive as well.

Just back - not the best impression - this one is a definite skip it

That's a shame. Agree that Eden Rock and the Grotto are pretty beaten down. Sunset House is down the street a bit and same deal with the reef, but the landing craft and mermaid were cool. We were there in July and did mostly shore dives. We enjoyed Turtle reef at Macabuca and Lighthouse...
