We (scubazoo) have started producing a weekly series on Borneo's underwater world called 'Borneo from Below'. It's a short format (5-6mins), small footprint production. I would love to get feedback from the dive community so we can develop this as we move forward. All comments appreciated...
We got unlucky with the great hammerheads and spent about 6 hours sitting on the sand looking for things to do. So.... slow motion bubble rings. GoPro Hero 3+ Black edition @ 100fps

Hey Mike. The resort closes from September to March because of rough conditions in the South China Sea. Historically the best time to go is around March-April. The water is a little colder then so the hammerheads are shallower. No land based attractions other than a small island of nesting...
It's March and Layang Layang is open for business after the typhoon season. Some great wall diving with probably the most reliable hammerhead dive in SE Asia. Unless anyone else knows somewhere better?

Thanks for the honesty...! Just to be clear, this is not Sipadan but the area around it. For a Sipadan video see the one here....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSzUOPc5zgo
Our friends at ScubaJunkie have been exploring the reefs fringing the East coast of Sabah, Malaysia. It's been labelled the Sipadan Barrier Reef due to its proximity to Sipadan. Scubazoo went diving there and we put together a 60sec edit. Let me know what you think...
Hi darrennina, the EX1 package is still available. Apologies for the slow response, been on a shoot. Please contact me on roger@scubazoo.com if you are interested.
Sit back and enjoy some mellow tunes as you slide through some stingless jellies....

I'm selling a complete underwater HD filming package. This camera and housing are considered broadcast standard for HD productions and it has been used as primary underwater camera on shoots for NatGeo, Discovery and the BBC. It is in excellent condition.
HOUSING
1 x Gates EX1 underwater...
Hey Ryan, We used the standard filters that came with our Gates housing. I believe it's a URPRO Blue water filter. That with good manual white balance technique.
Scubazoo shot footage for this when in Palau with Sams Tours. We were only there for a very short time, after a broadcast filming job, but managed to get some nice shots which we put into this latest '60 second' video. The water there is so clear! All shot on a Sony EX1R in a Gates housing...
Hi Fishtix
Thanks for the kind words. Most of the footage on the video was filmed with a Sony PMW-EX1R in a Gates housing. There is a very nice 110º aspheric optical port on the housing which gives those nice sharp, colourful images.
