I love the Cape had the oppurtunity to dive with the Aqua center folks over in Sandwich last summer. Great folks. Nice diving, and a great family vacation spot. I will definately pick up this book.

I will be on the Cape Aug 7th through the 13th Im currently a DM candidate, I dive cold dark NY waters regularly as well as The St Lawrence river. I would like to dive while on the Cape anybody interested.:onpatrol:

awesome 3 sport welcome and good luck with the dives. Even though I have done dry rescue and recovery dives I am still going to do the padi specialty. Just sounds like a good idea to me IMO!
I have dove wet for a few years in 40 to 50 water with a 7mm farmer john. cold is cold its sucks its not enjoyable even if it is tolerable SO..... I picked up a used dry suit from a guy on here for $525 and now I can be dry have fun and extend my season... I WIN!!!!
Yeah thats what im talkin about. I knew I could count on you all for some good info. I have sausages and whistles not scared of the cold as we dive mostly lakes rivers and quaries up here they dont warm up much. I have a dry suit but will probably dive wet because thats how the kid will be...

I have been in the stearns gumby suit very bulky and hard to Don. I think a drysuit undergarmet would be close to impossible. I use duo fold thermals and then wool sweat pants and a fleece. Good socks with the pant legs tucked into the socks.
