I'm curious about responses here as well, also wondering about Dir Direct.

Wondering if anybody, besides those in Europe, has purchased any gear from DIR Direct. Have you encountered any issues or are they reliable ? I heard one comment already and would like to hear any general consensus. Thanks

BF, thanks for your response. The math for an hour at full power with a Tall UWLD comes close to your estimate. That's great to know.

Thanks Grant. I've have learned the math recently. I did notice that UWLD adds the 10 %. I was wondering more in terms of the colder water times and how the cold would influence the life of the battery. I have a Go Pro and the cold water here sure cuts down useable battery.

BTW BF, how long does the 160 WH UWLD battery last for you. What are the approx water temps ? Thanks again

Jack Hammer, Thanks for the confirmation about the ballast. We'll see where all this ultimately ends. No idea when I'll be able to dive again anyway. All our dive sites are closed, who knows for how long ?

Grant , I hadn't got to the point about the on/off switch on the Santi. I'm actually glad you pointed it out. Made me think about it. I do like the idea of a lesser amount of controlled heat over the whole dive . Gonna be hard to try it out before I buy, especially with all this other %$#@...

forgot to change the year on my Mares Icon HD dive computer. As a result, my next 7 dives that I loaded from my computer to Diver's Diary show the wrong year and are in the wrong order in Diver's Diary. Does anyone know how to change the year on individual dives in Diver's Diary .. Thanks
