Was just there Thursday. Water temp was 79 and visibility was about 100'. We did shore dives out of Eden Rock DS. I did not ask about larger tanks, but you could shoot them an e-mail and ask.
The HID bulbs are pricey. Have no idea what the $$ would be for this one. It might be cheaper to convert it to LED when the bulb goes, I just don't know. I would imagine that a hard handle could be rigged onto it, but I do not know how to do it.
As the title says, Dive Rite H-21 light head with Wreck Cannister. New battery in July gives 4 hours burn time. Also purchased a new charger in July. Light is in good condition and works well. It is just more light than I need, looking to down size. No case, just the light, battery and charger...
Anybody know if this includes the old Dacor Dart single hose second stage? I have one that is still in working order, but it hasn't been serviced since I can't remember when. Not a bad reg, and have been hanging on to it for sentimental reasons, but if it could be put back in service that would...
Batteryspace.com is the way to go. I just got a battery for my Dive Rite Wreck canister for less than a third of what it would have cost from Dive Gear Express. I had to solder on the connector, but you can get the connector from Autozone or pretty much any other auto parts store. It is just a...
Thank you. Very informative post. I think the adage of "Your mileage may vary" is appropriate here. Air consumption is highly individualized and the "rules" stated here take that into account to an acceptable degree. Much as one person's tolerance of cold differs greatly from another's, (I can...
I've got a Dive Rite 21W Canister light. It is the Wreck canister. The battery I have only works for about 30 minutes on a "full" charge, but I just ordered a new one and a new charger that should be here by Wednesday. I might be willing to part with it for the right price.. If you think you...
I have both a Zeagle envoy Deluxe and a Mares Abyss and like them both very much. Prior to these I had a set of Dacor Enduro's for about 15 years. On a scale of 1-10 I give the Zeagles a solid 9 and the Abyss an 8.25. Both breathe easily, but the Zeagle just "feels" better.
I just got a Body Glove SC roller bag. It has an extension handle, wheels that work well on grass or dirt, two fin compartments (one of which will hold both of my SP Veloce's) and two main compartments (one for wet and one for dry). It works pretty well for me.
