    Fix UWL-04 M52 Scratches help?

My UWL-04 dome accumulated enough scratches to warrant replacement or repair. This repair kit currently runs around $60 with shipping and took me about 4 hrs. to complete. I had never attempted anything like this before and was pleased with the final result. Look for the youtube vid as well. It...

    Pressure sending unit on hose?

Thanks for the idea for using a swivel, I'll look into that.

    Pressure sending unit on hose?

I have a pair of mk25s in a doubles setup, and the angle for the cleanest hose routing puts the sender in a spot where 1. It partially blocks valve access and 2. Becomes a possible additional snag point. I figure if I can secure it to a hose with a couple of tie wraps it'll be out of the way...

    Pressure sending unit on hose?

I'd like to move my wireless pressure transducer off my first stage a bit, using a 6" HP hose. Does anyone run a similar setup? Any foreseeable problems? Thanks

    Single Tank Wing Ideas

I have a DR Travel EXP for diving singles (27# lift) that is a bladder/shell design. I have to agree with DevonDiver that a donut design (ring) is far superior to the older "horseshoe" as dumping air shouldn't be something that you have to think about, or have any trouble doing quickly. Look for...

    Sea Arm Light Single Set

$50 OBO + actual shipping fee (around $10). Sea & Sea Product No.20503, in used but excellent condition for compact digital camera housings. The biggest improvement you can make to your UW photography is to add a strobe, and this arm & tray set will complete your setup. Great for scuba or...

    Overpressure/dump valve question

I think I've got the answer, piece #2 is missing. In my mind piece #2 was the flange permanently attached to the hole in the bag, but it makes sense now. THANKS

    Overpressure/dump valve question

Yes, and so it narrows down to 1. I lost a piece 2. I have it reassembled incorrectly I can get it to work if I back off about 2-3 threads.

    Overpressure/dump valve question

Problem is that the seal does not break when the string is pulled. Screwing the top down completely seals the valve. There is no movement possible at all inside. So it seems either I have the wrong puck, or there is an outside washer that I'm missing that would allow the top to tighten down...

    Overpressure/dump valve question

Well the problem is not xthreading, but with the fine threads I can see how that'd be easy enough to do. The photo titled "bcd_over_pressure_valve" in CD's post above indicates there IS a washer of some sort that I'm missing. Strangly, in that diagram there is no numerical callout (???)...

    Overpressure/dump valve question

I have a Dive Rite smb with an overpressure/dump valve. The valve has 3 pieces that screw together; the bottom 2 pieces/rings screw together form a seal on the sausage opening and the upper piece houses the spring and seal. After completely cleaning and reassembling for the first time it...

    oceanic oc1

I've been diving my OC1 for over a year now, with over 100 dives on it (both Deco & non). It's my 3rd Oceanic computer and I've been happy with it. Ease of use: WAY better than my old Geo, which I still dive as a backup. Significantly easier menu navigation than many other computers. Small...

    Unsupervised, unlimited diving?

Last November on the Cayman Agressor we enjoyed great dive briefs but no heavy-handed supervision once everyone was checked out in the water. Most days you'll be diving as much as your computer will allow.
