It looks like you also noticed that my username was in my screenshot and fixed the problem. Thanks for that! I am now able to read and post as I expect.
Hello, I have an account which I have had for years. The other day I cam here to post a question and found myself unable to. It said I do not have permission to post in that thread. I found there is no thread I can post to from that account, including "introductions," "basic" etc. So I tried...
OK, well, I'm waiting! I've got all the gear I need, except now Don has my weights because I never did get them from him after all this time! But he loaned me his wetsuit so I'm mostly ready.
Hey, now we're talkin'! Meeting potential dive buddies is what I'm about. I really need them -- I'm a newbie as I said, and need some real dives. How do you recommend I get them in? Are there folks with experience willing to take a newbie in under their wing occasionally?
Are you in...
Can someone help me decide whether this is going to be OK? We are both newbies but want to dive tomorrow at BW to get some damn dives in before I forget how to do it LOL. I looked at Monterey Sea Conditions at a Glance and it looks like right by BW there is 6 foot swells and deeper out there...

No link? I don't even know what to google? It turns out I thought I bought this cable already but haven't, so I'm interested in cheaper alternatives if they exist.

Yeah, I did that and there were zero for sale. Patience isn't my strong suit -- if I had waited a month or so I might be able to save a few bucks, but I'm diving on the 6th so f-- it.
I just wanted to know if I'm the only one who thinks it's completely insane that a cable to connect a VT3 dive computer to a PC is $90. What makes these cables so pricey? I know there is supply and demand, yada yada, but really, it can't cost more than $15 to make these things, can...
