Anyone here know Latin? I just started learning it a little while ago. I like it alot.
1. How long have you known it?
2. How did you learn?
3. Any quotes you really like?
1. What kind of shooting do you like to do?
2. How long have you been shooting?
3. If you could have any gun, what would it be?
1. Honestly, plinking with friends is my favorite, though I hope to learn trap shooting in the spring.
2. I have been shooting for 1.5 years.

I'm one of those people who thinks that the government needs to mind its own business and stay out of people's lives. I even think that if you do something dumb, it's your fault and nobody else's, and that no amount of legislation or licensing-based hoop jumping can or should change that...
I'm presently in a wetsuit and a single aluminum, but I live in a cold area, so I'm saving for a drysuit. Just wondering if I should just go ahead and save for 2 steel tanks as well. Thanks in advance.
You could always save some money and do more dives locally (if you live in a locale that offers such things). Hehe, sorry to be such a debbie downer. Do your thing!
Eh. It seems like if I take it next summer, I'd have to have the money for a drysuit at the same time. If I took the class next August and failed (which I would likely do), I'd need the drysuit so I could practice my skills for long enough to get them to a passing state. If it took me a few...
Mine won't turn on at all. Initially, it wouldn't turn on unless the switch was in the off position when it was plugged in. I thought this was odd, but just how the thing worked. I've only had this thing for a few weeks!
Incidentally, I just read in the manual that you are supposed to...
Neat. I don't know why people work there. In other words, I don't know why the whole process isn't automated. Also, I didn't realize how much thicker the main body of the tank is than the "neck" up by the valve.
Wow! Neat.
I have never been cave diving. What lives in these kinds of caves? I never see anything alive in people's videos, but I don't know if there are organisms that are microscopic or otherwise unknown to me.
Pre:
Coffee. It's morning. And I don't have a drysuit, so I'm free to pee. Something else light.
In-Between:
Bananas, unless you're going on a boat captained by a superstitious person. They're considered bad luck.
Post:
Raw scallops you just caught!
So, here's what I've come away from this thread with:
being in shape for demanding dives = good, sane
being out of shape for demanding dives = bad, crazy
no substantial evidence to offset/challenge this paradigm
