Hope you guys plan another SuperBowl dive day on the big boat like you did last year. Great boat, great food, great dives and the SuperBowl on the tv for after diving.....that was one of the most fun dive days of the year for us. You have 3 divers ready to sign up if the boat is going out.

I can say with authority that apparently LC did not get the memo about epic viz in the surrounding area. We did a Friday night sunset dive, splashing as the last speck of light was on the water. Water temp, well didn't check the temp but I can say it was like bathwater and we took our hoods off...

Mcharvis-we will keep u in mind for shore diving in the coming months. You"ll need to get comfortable shore diving before lobstering because hunting bugs takes a certain skill level in the water (and yes sometimes it is very much like chasing chickens in the barn yard) Shore diving is awesome...

Have you shore dived? Are u interested in learning how to lobster dive? Season is coming up and I do a lot of shore diving and lobster diving with my 16 year old son, and hubby, either or (never seems all 3 of us are available. I always seemed to want to dive more than either of them.

I heard a rumor that Capt Kyaa is back. Is this true? We had planned to make the Super Bowl day trip our 2nd Annul and Kyaa was a big reason for this.

Deercreek and Leo Carillo both have excellent kelp diving and we usually have a seal or 2 following us around on about 40% of our dives in both spots. Have a great dive!

Deercreek is a great dive spot (hence our moniker). We dive that spot a lot. But I would probablly have to recommend Leo Carillo over Deercreek for a first time diver to our wonderful waters because.....Deercreek is parking on a cliff top along side of the road-Leo C is a 30 yard walk along sand...

Garbage bags, especially for shore diving when everything has a different level of sandiness. We will bring several..... durable sandy stuff goes in one (fins, wet suits etc) BP&Ws in another then maybe computers and regs in a 3rd.... Been doing this for years and it works great
