I checked with Natural Springs Resort, the quarry depth is 28' to 30' deep

Welcome to the area, I'm one of the Ohio divers that Busdiver talks about. I dove France park once this year and seen a paddle fish, way cool! I usually go to Gilboa quarry here in Ohio closer for me. Hope to see ya out and about diving.

We went a couple of weeks ago. We dove on the Regina and the Sport. We dove Sat. so Fri. we stayed at the Last chance motel about a block away from Port Sanilac on road 46. No frills but clean with bath and shower. Only cost 53.00 dollars a night. Nice to have a good night sleep than dive the...

What do you mean when you say course fees? Is that like getting open water or advanced open water certified cost?

Hi Jon I live in northwestern Ohio, I dive at Gilboa and Whitestar, and want to go up north sometime. Would be glad to dive with you sometime let me know.

At Gilboa our first dive we went to the tubes(cold part of quarry on shallow side)temp was 45,later at the plane and stuff temp was 55, our last dive at 20ft temp was 63, I wear a farmer john type wetsuit 7mm,hood,gloves, kept "warm"but didn't stay at tubes long. Waiting on my drysuit to come in.

Welcome! Try France park outside of Logansport Indiana. A small Quarry and If you are lucky you might see a paddle fish.

My dive buddy and me wanted to try the deep side at Gilboa. Mike checked our dive log and wanted us to have more dive time in the cold by the tubes. I think he is right, still using a wet suit kind of chilly! Someday
