    e-pl7+PT-EP12+UWLH100

Did you pick up the epl7 during the olympus refurb sale? They had some good prices then. I sent in my epl7 for repair just before that sale was announced. It's back and happy. I actually think they just pulled a refurbed off the shelf and sent that to me. In the end it saved me a little so...

    e-pl7+PT-EP12+UWLH100

I have the epl7 in the Olympus housing and I like it, however I'm shooting with a Zen dome in which I use the 9-18, 14-42ii & 60mm. I also have a dome for the 8mm FE. I don't even have the 14-42EZ as I bought the camera body only. BTW, the epl7 is out of production now and the ones available...

Help! Olympus housing - can't remove port!

I've had trouble with this myself. I use a strap wrench and get a good hold on the housing. Also, if you get it off, put more silicon grease on it so it's easier next time. I've had more trouble with my Zen port. My AOI port is easier to deal with. this is also a good reminder to go and...

Real world review of the AOI DLP-04 acrylic mini dome port with Olympus PT-EP10 housing

BTW, you can really use 3 lenses at least behind the dome for the 9-18. The 9-18, 60 & 14-42. Probably could use the 12-50 also, I just don't have that lens. And I rarely use the 14-42 as I just like the images from the 9-18 & 60 more.

Real world review of the AOI DLP-04 acrylic mini dome port with Olympus PT-EP10 housing

I find the 9-18 to be very versatile with the ability to zoom. So, it's a completely different animal than the 8mm. What I love is the semi dome port than can handle both the 9-18 & 60mm macro. Then I can cover a very wide range without a port change. If I want 8mm FE, I have to commit to it...

Problems with E-PLR Custom White Balance.

Actually if you look on page 80 of the pdf I linked it says that once in the macro or wide angle underwater mode you can set underwater white balance. So, it seems possible. but it also seems convoluted. Would have been much easier if they had just put underwater WB under the normal WB menu...

Problems with E-PLR Custom White Balance.

It's a white balance option. Not in the scenes mode menu. It's similar to cloudy, sunny, incandescent, etc in the white balance menu that's available in P,S,A,M modes. http://cs.olympus-imaging.jp/en/support/imsg/digicamera/download/manual/pen/man_epl5_e.pdf page 80 ok, I see that is the...

Problems with E-PLR Custom White Balance.

I've used an epl2 and now an epl7 and I haven't had much luck with custom white balance. Olympus m4/3 cameras are known to not be too good with this. There is an underwater white balance mode on both my epl2 & epl7. I would suspect the epl5 has this also. I'll use it when taking natural light...

    OM-D E-M5 II and the PT-EP13 Housing

Ahhh, ok, couldn't visualize it before. Wow,that is close. I think your idea to remove material from gear is best approach. Worst case there is you can't zoom. That's better than flooding.

    OM-D E-M5 II and the PT-EP13 Housing

Are you supposed to take the eye cup off? I know it was that way with the original em5. Maybe don't push the gear as far down on the lens. I know I have to play with the gear at times to get it right. My experience is with epl2 & epl7, but I've had that issue before when I pushed the gear too...

Anyone doing video on an OMD?

So, can we assume you're using a windows machine? I don't know current version, but windows movie maker will suffice for putting together simple videos. I personally now use an ipad for pretty much everything, stills and video. I love the travel profile and I usually don't go for the higher...

    Flooded Mini Pen Pm1

do you know why it flooded? If the housing is sound, certainly easiest solution is replace the epm1. obviously would need to go used for that. I have one that could be had. PM me if interested. there was a great package deal on the epl5 a while back, but I think they are all gone.

New Lens Line Up For Em1 & Mirrorless

Those are 4/3 lenses, not micro 4/3 lenses. Those are actually older lenses. Notice they are Zuiko. A micro 4/3 is m.Zuiko

Hacking the m.zuiko 12-50 to get accesible macro in any house

Eskilj, I have a question for you not related to the 12-50. Seeing as how you know your way around the inside of a lens, have you seen the following error from an olympus lens: "please check the status of a lens" I am getting this on a 9-18 of an em5 & epl7 when I zoom past about 13mm on the...

    Pt-ep12 Port Internal Diameter

I'm at work so don't have access to measure and such now. But, I can guarantee you it's the same size as the previous PENs and the 60mm will fit fine. The 60 is actually quite small from a diameter standpoint. I've had the 9-18, 8mm and 60 all in this housing with the Zen port. The 9-18 & 8...

    Pt-ep12 Port Internal Diameter

I can't measure it right now, but I can tell you it's the same as the other PEN housings. I took the Zen 100 port off of my epl2 housing and put it on my epl7 housing. With this port, I can use the 9-18, 60mm or 14-42. I don't have a 12-50 so can't comment about that, but I would guess it fits.

    OLY mft Wide/Tele Lens Choice

I didn't read every post in chain, but let me give you my experience. I use a Zen dome, first on an epl2, then an epl7. It's a great option as I can shoot the 9-18, 14-42 and 60mm macro all behind the same port. Extremely versatile. This the one for the 9-18: Zen Dome Port for Olympus 9-18...
