Two (2) Sea & Sea YS-110 strobes. Both of them are in great condition and work fine. Just upgrading to YS-D2 to work better with my new underwater camera system.
$230 each or $420 for the pair, plus shipping.

Want to say "Thank You" to Dave at Blue Abyss Photo (San Diego) for helping me figure out my strobe sync problem. He worked with me and we were able to try my camera with a YS-D1(discontinued) and then a YS-D2. Both of which worked fine. It looks like the Panasonic GX8 has a new pre-flash...
Giffenk,
Thanks for the suggestion but yes I have tried both of those.
The flash is the Panasonic DMW-FL70. This is the only one that fits in the Nauticam housing with this camera. The camera and Flash by themselves work fine. Everything works as expected. It is just when I add the Sea&Sea...
I have a problem that I have no idea what up.
I have a new Panasonic GX8 and some older Sea&Sea YS-110A strobes (I have used the strobes for years with my Panasonic GF1 and all worked fine). The problem is that I can not get the strobe (either of them) to sync with the camera. The strobe will...

Hey, I noticed you mentioned Dauin in your first post. I just got back from 10 day in Dauin and the diving was fabulous. We stayed at Liquid Dumaguete Dive Resort. I would recommend it highly to anyone. Not very expensive, wonderfully run and great people. Owner Zoe and Tim are wonderful...
All (including Doug),
Does anyone have a "best location" for the A300CS Transmitter. I have tried it as many different position as I can do on my regulator. Next will be to try a 6" or 12" extension to get is out from behind my head to see if this works better. I have noticed that is loses...
Just got back from a two week dive trip with the A300cs. I logged 24 consecutive dives (time to fly not timing out between dives). The dives ranged from 45 to 72 mins with a max depth of 83 ft. All dives were Nitrox ranging from 32-34%.
Added note, except for my first two dives of the two...
Ok I am on a two week trip in Fiji and need to make his brief as wifi is not cheap here. Will do a good review went I get home. Have done 18 dive total on the A300cs in the last several days. As mentioned on my post above the lastest firmware that does the BATT in green May have an issue. Before...
Ok, here is a new twist. I have my A300cs an early model. Updated with the latest SW. Started to get ready for a Fiji two week trip so three days ago checked evertyhing out. A300cs showed Green Battery (aka full). I don't have room for the big box that the A300cs come with in my carry-on so I...
Screen Protector what screen protector. I purchased and early model a the dive show and it did not have one with it. Someone mentioned calling Aeries Service can someone provide a number for me to call.
I am leaving for Fiji next Friday for two week and would love to have a protector on my...
I am also looking for anyone that has information (has used or at least had one in their hands for sometime) on the Hollis TX1. I am going to talk to the Hollis Rep this week but want some information to be able to have good questions for him.
Still Diving,
NASDS Cert at Diving Locker in San Diego, 1968. Cert number in the low 2000. Still have the original Cert Card saved. The plastic is falling apart now but still have it for history. Had to jump thought hoops to get a replacement when all the old NASDS records burned in a fires.
Same as most of the above. Mine goes back to 1968 in San Diego with a cert number in the 2000s. Yes there are still some us old school divers left. Heading to Caymans for a couple week at the end of the month.
Janice,
This may be a little off subject but I did not think that an iPad or iPhone can connect and download data from a Suunto device. Anytime I have connected just that download cable (for either Cobra or D9) to my iPad (latest version) it tells me it can not be used a the device need more...
I have been reading your post on your new Seatool GF1 housing. Congratulation!
I know that you have not had a chance to get it wet but I have a question for you. The Seatool housing control for the thumbwheel (aperture, shutter speed or EV comp) how reliable is it. What I am trying to ask is...
If you would not mind a couple question on your choices. I am at the same point. I have the GF1 and want a housing. I was able to see, touch, operate (dry) the Seatool housing last weekend at the dive show, but was not able to see a 10Bar. Were you able to get your hands on both housing before...
Teri,
Thanks for the welcome. I live in San Diego, CA also warm but a very different beauty to the waters then where you are at.
Some day I hope to live somewhere in the tropics but time will tell.
