New pics from Maldives made with Pana Gx7 in Nauticam housing

Hi Scipione, Nice Photos, as usual! The Inon UWL-H100 is a compact and heavy lens, how is the buoyancy underwater? Do you use a flip holder and does it work with WA lenses? The combo seems to produce sharper images (especially on the corner) than the 9-18mm you already used with the 4" dome...

DIY shutter release lever for Nauticam housings

Hi, I had this concept originally for the NA-EM5, but i sold the housing and didn't try it on. I believe it would fit the NA-EM5/EM10 too. Regarding the tray/handles, it's a unic DIY peace, I wanted one that fits exactly my hands and with a better buoyancy. I made the Handles with PVC foam...

DIY shutter release lever for Nauticam housings

Hi, most of Nauticam 4/3 housings are intended to be used with a wrist strap where you are holding the housing with the right hand. The housing shutter release button can be pushed easily. If you have 2 strobes and 2 grips it can be difficult to hold the housing and action the shutter release...

Great shots scipionems, thanks for sharing! How is the IQ you get with the 14-42/UWL-H100 combo compared to the IQ with the 9-18mm or the 8mm? Nice movie too, you'r sooo lucky!

Nauticam NA-EM5: Salt under port lock mechanism

Hi, I noticed the same thing after diving with my housing. One can clean it but it comes back again. It's the osmotic pressure that pushes the salt to the outside. You can taste it, it is salty!

If you only had 2 ports for your Nauticam

Hi, I don't think it's a good idea to use a dome port like the 4,33" for Macro photography: - You get less magnification then with a dedicated port. Objects are 1,34x lager with flat ports. - because of the curvature of the dome port, you will have less working distance to your subject. - It's...

Hi, i just tried the 8mm lens with the 3,5" dome port, unfortunately i noticed some vignetting on the 2 lower corners of the image. The camera/lens seems to be not aligned with the port! Has somebody noticed this? Is there any way to correct it? Thanks.

    First photos with the E-M5 & NA-EM5

The first day i had a couple of Inon strobes, the D-2000 and the S-2000. The second day the S-2000 refused to work, it seems to be "burned" (no flooding), I never liked it anyway! So most of the time i only had the D-2000. I would add that a didn't use my focus light so much, the E-M5 autofocus...
