    Sl 1

recently I tested out an SL 1 at my LDS. I have other Intova lights but was a wee bit disappointed in the SL 1, it may not represent this light series. Question: The SL 1 I tried showed a distinct hot spot in the middle of the light beam. Other Intova lights I have do not have such a hotspot...

    Sharks - blackbeards

In a word... GO !! nobody has to dive every dive nor are you obligated to do the 'shark dive'. I went in December and enjoyed the whole trip. We didn't do the 'shark dive' but enjoyed seeing Nurse sharks on occasion. I'm going again later this year. Your daughter will love the trip

ATTENTION SCUBA LADIES! Womens only dive charter help/advice!

Yes, there's a very large group of divers for whom the above criteria apply. I for one roll my eyes at those who 'talk up their game' and basically just annoy those of us who DO enjoy diving for the sheer enjoyment of the underwater world. Cheers, Bruce

    Any downsides to diving dry?

Jump off the back of a boat in Lake Superior... you'll find 32F - 33F surface temps any time of year.... it's luxury to have 38F at depth
