Only used TACA once to Roatan and did not have a problem, but that was years ago. Parrotheaddiver has used them many times, maybe she will chime in. Glad you had a great time at CCV, we will be there next may for the third time.

We have stayed at HC several times and were pleased. The rooms and pool were nice and the food was OK. It is walking distance to town if you want to try better places to eat. Never used their dive op, always went with BlueXT. Christi will pick you up at the dock.

Planning early usually pays off with savings on airfare and the ever changing baggage fees. now airlines are considering carry-on fees in the future so we have already booked for our trip to CCV in may.

When you get through customs at the airport, look for a big guy ( Orlando ) and he will get you and your luggage to the transport. You will hear him before you see him.

I used a skin last mar. my wife used a 2 mil. we take both just in case we get chilled. they pack light so it never hurts to pack-um.

Most Resorts will have info to the site of the island. there is a great zipline adventure along with the iguana farm and some great restraunts. Most of all you will have fun doing nothing ay all.

You are right Ncchuck, the people in general are poor by our standards but happy with the few things they have. It is humbling to me.

Find one that fits. Most DS's will let you try them out.
