Thought this sounded familiar, please see info at Snopes using link below. http://www.snopes.com/business/bank/pinalert.asp Or you could always ask your bank, just because it's on the Internet, doesn't mean it's true! This one cuts both ways. Dave

    Why you gotta love Canada...

Pierre Burton once defined a true Canadian as someone who had made love in a canoe. I'm of course envisioning how Red Green would construct a canoe suitable for just such an adventure! Quando Omni Flunkus Moritati..................................

    Diving in Timmins?

From what I recall of the rivers and creeks up there seen while moose hunting, they are 'stained' and I don't expect vis would be more than few feet in best of conditions. Don't write it off, just do not expecting much would be my advice. Dave

Tank recommendations for a girl of smallish stature?

You should fire off a PM to FreeFloat on this. She's about the same size and her tanks almost taller than she is. Warning, she's a self admitted hard core diving enthusiast! Dave

    Dive Story

If Jim was so mean, (NOT suggesting he is) the time to untie would have been just as the last diver jumped into the water and then throw him the line. This way he wasn't being abandoned, just being given total responsibility for the boat. (Okay, so maybe I'm the mean one!) Dave

Anyone going from Toronto to Kingston this weekend?

So is the scuba analogy....... - a few psi short of a full tank - a few breaths short of a full BC - a few pounds short of a full weight belt Sorry, all I can come up with that are worth passing on. IMHO :-) Feel free to join in or bash 'em! Dave

Have you used your dive knife?

Yes, had to cut dive buddy loose from fishing line during navigation run in AOW class. He was pretty well wrapped from knees to ankles. Carry knife, considering set of shears as well in future.
