Now THIS could be a great dive boat!

Ok, Socal, you're forgiven. I'm not sure about the Mississippi though - I've seen it (admittedly from the surface) Very attractive brown colour... ooh - we also need a Helipad, Guys. So us rich, good looking types can jet set in and out. :D

Now THIS could be a great dive boat!

DD - Why do you think us CAD(s & Ettes) hang out with you :cold: water divers... To fetch the beer, of course Socal (aka socold) - No fair - the Mississippi isn't exactly what I'd call centrally located for the International members. [pout] Now that's a trip I'm up for but bags not...

    Picture from our latest trip

Keralucu, I've been toying with the idea of getting an underwater camera myself since I've seen the results on these pages. Did a bit of research last night and came up with a couple of websites. Not exactly cheap but the nice thing is that you can buy the camera and then get the lenses at...

    When to winterize?

[Visions of the scence in The Big Blue when they get pi**ed in the diving bell/chamber on a sip of Scotch] Where can I get one?

    Diving While Sick

For me to dive the Thames the viz would have to increase 100 fold and somebody would have to turn the hot tap on. :D DG - So long as it is motion sickness I always get in the water, much safer for every one around me. ;)

    Diving While Sick

I'm green around the gills on the boat and the surface but once I submerge I'm A-Ok. There has been many a time that I've considered staying down so as to forego the boat trip back! I really need to start shore diving - anyone know any good spots in the Thames? :D

    Diving While Sick

Don't dive. I've done it and spent the entire dive feeling rotten - so what's the point? I'd like to point out here that it was the very beginnings of flu so while I wasn't congested, I was headachy and a tad feverish. Not one of my brightest ideas but hey, I was young and you (hopefully)...

[Sounds of rapturous applause] What I'd like to know though is: Was the lobster still there after your dive or did he land up in the pot? :D

    Opinionated LDS's...

It's good to have you (and the wife). 2ndly: I think the problem that you are running into is the age old "In my opinion..." Also each LDS is "contracted" shall we say to particular brands of gear and (obviously) are going to recommend their stuff. Now as to my comments on your choice of...
