I was on the boat (Vision) and in the water. There was a fatality. Here are the basic details: Diver (Fatality) had over 100 logged dives The bank (Farnsworth) was about as pristine as I have ever seen it. No current. Hardly any surge and about 50-100+ feet of vis. Made a dive to 130 +/-...

Very sad...Condolences to the family and all involved. I certainly hope this one accident does not become the impetus for the USFS to close Clear Lake to diving. I have probably 15-20 dives there including deep and night dives. It is (just barely) an altitude dive and typical water temps...

Things I can definitely verify regarding Waldo - It is VERY clear (100+ Vis) - It is cold 48 degrees - It is pretty bare...Not much to see. Fun dive just because!
