Where they are at I would pretty much have to be rolled for them to end up in the front end of the van.The well drops them below the floorboard level of the rest of the vehicle. Its meant to fold the furthest back seat down into but I seldom ever fold it down unless Im hauling furniture or such.

update- It does hold air but has a leak at the stem on the back. Its probably fixable but it works just as well as a wall decoration. :)

I dove in Key largo last summer(only at 25-35ft tho) without a wetsuit. Im not so small a gal either. I was a tiny bit chilled but did ok, worst was the dern fire coral floaters. My thighs stung for several hours after the dive from them.

My advice(since I am also on and have been on a budget) Be opportunistic, always be on the look out for used equipment. So far Ive been lucky and found; Seaquest Pro Qd BCD half price(seller bought it for a cruise then put it on ebay) Sherwood 1st/2nd stage and hose for 50.00 off...
