Hi Rob, The oil pump is only sold as a complete unit. Also, there is no rebuild kit. Bauer's part number is N83. I carry oil pumps to fit this part number and have Dealers throughout the US and Internationally who sell direct to compressor owners as well as help maintain their equipment...

    Bauer K15 Help

Hi rdoebler, Everything you are doing and thinking is correct. Your oil pressure issue is almost certainly the ball inside the regulator and this needs to be overhauled. Regarding your second issue, if your compressor builds pressure normally up to around 2000psi and then slows down, this is a...

    Filter Stack Plans/Design

Hi Jason, Thanks for the additional information. Actually, changing the filter every 15 hours is not often enough. I will show you the math for your single P21 tower only. If you want us to adjust for your second tower, I will need to see a schematic of your system. So, Bauer's suggested...

    Filter Stack Plans/Design

Hi DivingTactics, I work for Lawrence Factor and I reviewed your post with our Filtration Technical Manager Mike Casey. Here are his thoughts. The Oceanus is rated 4.9CFM and your P21 Filter system should provide enough filtration to produce clean air, so long as you are replacing your filter...

    Oil pressure regulator rebuild advise

Hi BB, Thanks for purchasing our products! Your compressor is a very old Utilus-H (rated 3500psi) which was discontinued in the late 60's/ early 70's. the oil regulator on this block doesnt use an adjustable screw, instead it uses shims behind the spring or under the seat (not sure which) and...

    Bauer KA13E?

Hi Jim, Thanks for the information, that was a little more helpful. These compressors are the Utilus and K14-85. Both are 1970's or earlier. The problem with acquiring blocks from around this time is that there were many changes to these models throughout the decades and parts to fit these...

    Bauer KA13E?

Hi Jim, That is a little helpful, it lets me know that these are pretty old. not much other than that. I would try again to get the right number. it is hand stamped into the metal on the crankshaft housing (the crankcase) usually near the base of one of the cylinders. it will have to forward...

    Bauer KA13E?

Hi Jim, This compressor block should be a Bauer Utilus-H according to the Model. For a complete identification, I would need to see close up pictures of the block and valve heads. Also I would need to know the block number which is hand stamped on the crankcase and should look like...

    Stainless tubing vs copper?

Hi CappyJon431, I'm not sure what type of copper you are referring to, but copper is generally not rated that high. Also, copper work hardens over time which makes it very brittle. I can't in good conscience recommend using this material, even as a temporary solution.

    Bauer K14-85

Good Morning Jimmer, Thanks for your Personal Message and your Post. The link you sent me says the add is no longer available. None the less, the info you provided was enough to help us identify this block. It is a K14-40. the difference between the 85 and the 40 is cfm output. The K14-85 is...
