See Don, that's why I like to read your posts, you seem very informed..I don't drink coffee but if I did, I listen to recommendations....I'm not gonna cringe at the checked bag rates..I'm just gonna go and enjoy the few short days I'm there, even though it is raining now, maybe it will stop...

I don't like having to check any bags, but I will have to check my gear bag,,and Don, YES, can you believe it $25.00 per bag?.I was shocked, but getting to dive, will be worth it..I will do a carry on for the un-necessary items, you know, clothes and makeup..;)

Just was wondering about the weight..Sun Country charges $25 per bag and it seems like my gear bag is sorta heavy,,plus it will have my childs fins and such (she's a snorkler) I already have it packed to take, but just wanted other opinions

AFter pouring over all the posts on these forums, I know I can find the answer.. do I need to bring my own reg, or just rent one from Scuba Mau. I'm definately bringing my suit, bcd, fins, mask and snorkle, but was NOT sure about the regs. THanks guys and I'm on countdown...2 days left

I have been certifed for 15 years, but have not got to dive in Cozumel for a number of years. I am really sorta of scared now, a man died on an ascent, and then I have these stories about the current taking you out to sea..and I don't remember being scared at all the first 5 years we dove...

I lot of people have said to snorkle down the money bar and left the drift carry them back up to the FA..on the smaller faster boats, can I still dive, even though I don't have a dive buddy..

Since my last posts, my daughter is now bringing a friend, so that takes the diving out, since the freind does not dive, so we thought about snorkeling, parasailing, maybe do the snuba..we are gonna rent mopeds possibly, dolphin swim and maybe the Isle de Pasion...any thoughts on the Playa...
