I have camped in the Keys in the early fall and used a fan at night with tent sights that have electricity and that seemed to work well but the trips were always planed months in advance.

Thinking about doing a camping trip/dive trip this summer(June-July) to the Florida Keys but I am wanting to be able to move around every couple days to different locations, moving down through the different Keys as I drive south. Would it be possible to do this and not have to book the camp...

You might want to look into masks with black skirts instead of clear to help knock down some of the extra light coming into the sides of the mask like Nemrod suggested also the red lenses for color correction may help a little with the amount of light coming into the mask.

Panama City Diving - Panama City's Favorite Dive Shop I have dove with them many years and they have always been good to me and my group.

I dont smoke but two of the instructors I work with do and it doesn't seem to bother them at all. During surface intervals they will take a smoke brake and be read for the next dive.

We enjoyed Mrs Macs as well in Key Largo. Good food, cool little restaurant. The Islamorada Fish Company was a nice stop on our drive down to Key West. It was more expensive than I would have liked but the food was good and it was nice enjoying lunch out over the water.

Has anyone had any experience going through the SDI divemaster certification? If so what was the course like for you?

What are the requirements for becoming a SDI Divemaster? What kind of tests, physical tests do you have to pass?

I have used Pirate Island Divers out of key largo.

There is no point being rude. I'm simply saying if I know its going to break I might be better off with a different one that is more likely to last longer than a year.

I was looking about the Dorcy but I noticed all the bad reviews said it did great for about a year then the light started flickering and not working right.

I am looking for a Good back up light to keep on my BC. I want it to use either AA or AAA batteries and not be longer than about 6 inches. I would like to pay less than $50 but still have a nice bright light. Does anybody own any good lights like this?

I have dove with Panama City Diving many times and they are a really good group of people to dive with. The owner Pat will stop and have discussions about scuba diving or products. Him and his staff seem to want to make sure you have a good dive experience. The divemasters do not guide the dives...

Has anybody asked how "deep" he plans to go? Deep for you may mean something different than him and not require "technical training for deep dives involving advanced nitrox and decompression"? Maybe deep for him is 80 feet.

Has anybody dove it this year? If so, how is the quarry?

Why would you not want them to dive with the tank? Is it because it is out of hydro and vis or because you dont trust the gas?

So has anybody made any dives with them?

When you just need to get in the water right now. Where is the dive spot you can go to, at the drop of a hat, and have a good dive?

I have the UK c8. I've not had any trouble out of it. If your just doing a few night dives here and there, I think its a good chose that won't break the bank.
