Diver drowns in guided cenote dive

The SeawiscopeHB (the "rear-view mirror") is actually hand-held or be attached at the back of a gauge. It works very much like the wide-field rear-view mirror for automobiles. It was primarily designed to keep track of divers near-by. Because of the small image size for divers at a distance, I...

    Bifocal mask

I have just uploaded a video in Youtube: SeawiscopeEY in action The video shows the operation of a SeawiscopeEY for distance and near vision. From the video, you will see exactly how close one needs to see at near. You may need to hold your breath a bit to avoid disturbing the fish. The...

    Bifocal mask

Fish bites if you get too close. You may consider to get a double hose as previously suggested. I am working OK with an ordinary regulator, may have to hold the breath a bit. Going back to the Pacific, feathery appendices around the mouth of scorpion fish are pretty and so are the different...

If you are not the kind of photographer who uses the camera viewport but the LCD screen, you will find SeawiscopeEY wonderful again. With it, you will be able to see and select the proper marco setting and frame your target. Have fun. We just had a press release on SeawiscopeEY last Friday...

John, There are two cushioning blocks under the main base of SeawiscopeEY. You may force open the base slightly to remove them. This sets the lenses down by about 6 mm in front of the mask window. The blocks can be re-inserted for another mask after use.

John, I have not tried (not even seen) a double hose regulator or rebreather. I guess you really need to be very senior in scuba diving before you may have all these experience. This makes me even more proud of my SeawiscopeEY when a widely exposed diver speaks so much of it. Of course, you...

A big thank to John for all his kind comments. In spite of the humble Chinese way of thinking, I am proudly taking John’s wow, Wow, WOW on SeawiscopeEY. These were also my own feeling when I tried the first prototype. We are not alone on this. I was in Cebu (Philippines) last week and two...

    Hong Kong info

I am a new member to scuba board, and actually new to any forum. I am sorry to deviate a bit from the orginal thread. I received a email requesting to enlist me as 'friend'. I have no ideas what friends are for (in a forum). Would somebody please tells me more on this, and shares their good...

Truely, you pictured the best beach in town, though we have much better, fine and extensive beaches around. These beaches are accessible with boats, or on your feet. I won't mind water at 18 deg C, but not to dive/swim in it. You must have a different genetic make-up to swim at 4 deg C.

How does the XS Scuba "Gauge Reader" mask work?

Hope that you have the problem resolved, otherwise the SeawiscopeEY (you may have to search that in the internet) will be helpful. It also helps to see fine details of small things underwater.

Dear John, Great to learn that you will be coming over to HK. Feb is too cold to dive with wetsuit (and I have yet tried a dry one !). There will be hardly any diving boat going out in HK in this season. Day trekking (or rather walking) is however a great activity here. HK is small...

Dear Folks, I am the operator of Seawiscope and I have the SeawiscopeEY developed. I thank SteveTan for speaking out of his experience with SeawiscopeEY recently in this forum. Stevetan is a friend of mine, and a fanatic of SeawiscopeEY. Stevetan got a SeawiscopeEY from us some time ago and...
