Closed for cleanup. I'll reopen it when I've removed all the bickering and off-topic stuff.
In the meantime, please read the special rules for this forum, and when this thread opens back up, heed them.
Thanks in advance...

Please read and heed the rules for the A&I forum. Please take all well wishes, "this is horrible (or sad) feelings" and other tangential issues to the thread in the Cayman Islands forum.
Thanks.
This thread is off in the boonies now.
If anyone has anything actually relevant to this mishap, PM me and I'll consider posting it. Otherwise, the thread is closed.
If y'all want to continue the "stuff that goes on at Ginnie" thread, start one outside the A&I forum, please.
If y'all want to discuss the mishap then discuss the mishap. It is pretty straightforward... the diver had a fatal heart attack, according to the coroner, during a hard swim in current. The lesson is to stay in good cardiac health. If you have anything to add to that then PM me and I'll consider...

This is the Accidents & Incidents forum.
It's here to figure out what happened and to keep the same kind of thing from happening again, so there are special rules (see the sticky)
Thread closed. I have deleted quite a few off-topic and otherwise unsuitable (for the A&I forum) posts.
If anyone has anything relevant to the analysis of this mishap, or a lesson not yet revealed, PM me and I'll reopen it.
The purpose of this forum is the promotion of safe diving through the examination and discussion of accidents and incidents; to find lessons we can apply to our own diving.
Accidents, and incidents that could easily have become accidents, can often be used to illustrate actions that lead to...
