My wife and I are are worried about Zika and are thinking about postponing dive travel this year. What do the rest of you think about the risk of Zika in the Caribbean, Bonaire, Honduras, TCI, etc? I saw a news report that Puerto Rico had over 700 cases so far. Scary.

What do you mean by "interesting zone of Roatan's Diving? How does this end of the island compare to the other end? In some of the videos I have seen viz looks a bit less than desired. I am used to Bonaire, TCI and GC viz. How does Roatan compare? How about sea life?

me too. going in May. 2 years ago when my wife and I went. we took the worst towels we had and an old stained t-shirt each to change into post dive. we brought a few apples and some bottled water and did not have a problem. I hope we can report the same next trip this May.
