I consider myself more of an underwater tourist than a photographer, but I am very happy with my Nikon Coolpix L24 + Ikelite housing, which I got around my 100 dive mark. When I bother to use it, that is. It turns out I like hovering and enjoying the view more than focusing on taking pictures...

I recently switched to the Neutrogena UltraSheer Dry-touch Sunblock, which has been great for me. (FWIW, apparently getting the exact right variety is important. My old Neutrogena stuff would cause irritation with my mask.)

I recommend a nice bayside search for pygmy seahorses. Also, we found an amazing spiny orb weaver (spider that looks like it's straight out of Super Mario Brothers) at the Windley Key fossil reef park. I do not recommend wreck diving (or sitting on the boat after calling your dive) in 5-8ft...

Well, I'm guessing they didn't do drysuit training in Roatan. Personally, I found drysuit diving much easier than expected, but I made a point of doing it before going on the Silfra dives.
