Hey guy's. I haven't been on for a while but I'm back with more questions for PADI. First off I emailed the guy at my local dive shop and he said we had to swim a few laps and tread water for a couple minutes. Does anyone know the exact amount of yards we need to swim and how long we need to...
Hi everyone. Is anyone going to next years boston sea rovers clinic" I guess you call it. I know I'm going. I will be hopefully certified by the spring so I should be in training at the time. My Dad's, friends, father is a founding father. Don DeSantis if any of you know him. My dad's friend is...
Well just about everyone certified in my area (salem, MA) has been certified by this guy. His name is bobby. He owns undersea divers and I guess everyone likes him. Once I can afford everything I will probably train with him and my dad will be my dive buddy.
Thank you. I am from The U.S. new england actually. Dive training looks good. I didn't even know they had an online magazine for diving (not that I looked). Thanks again.
yes true but if you go off of Waikiki beach its really nice. Other place's like Brown's island and Misery (not the busy places like cocktail cove) are good snorkeling places as long as you look out for the trustees. And your right Stellwagen is deep but there are a lot of fish near the surface...
If you want to go lobstering, crabbing, or flounder fishing salem harbor. If you want a great scuba place and fishing place go to stellwagon. More info here Visitor Information: Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary
I guess you don't consider it a license. All I know is that my Dad had to get one to renew his slip at our boat club. Probably just for the yacht club. It wasn't necessary but it put him on the top off the transfer list to get a new slip. Thank you guys.
In Massachusetts in the end of 2010 you need to have one of the USGC license to operate a boat longer than 15 ft but 45 ft and under if you own your own boat. I don't know why. Its only a Massachusetts law though, I think. Thank you for your reply!
Hi everyone. I just wanted to ask a quick question for future reference. What license do you need t run a water taxi. I have my USCG auxiliary boating license so what else do I need? any help is appreciated!
My dad has 20 ft Grady White walk-a-round and I was just wondering if this boat would be advisable and is it possible to store dive gear for two people on the boat? thank you all.
