Actually it is more conservative than 120/140. Remember this is on 32. On Air, subtract 10 minutes at each depth.

Nope I don't play victim. I invited you to start a separate thread on rebreather and we can continue to discuss. You declined, doubled-down, and continued to alleged that we "promote dangerous activities" but you have neither the statistics nor the numbers to backed you claim; and you are making...

    UTD Ratio deco discussion

Seriously Dave, let's start a thread in the rebreather forum if you want. But I'm sure you already had your debate with AG himself and you probably can't prove anything and now you are taking it out in a thread discussing Essentials of recreational diving. What's your motive?

Thank you. So in other words, I don't need statistics but just a quote from any CCR guys out there that they can "rely on the COPIS to inject O2 and trust the computer and sensor would be foolproof to ensure I can sufficient PPO2". And in layman terms it meant if you are task loaded you would...

Oh you will find the intro to tech to be quite different from Essentials of Rec although they do share some common stuff known as "good diving skills" and "good diving habits". Nevertheless, thank you for your feedback.

You are right. To us, there is no hard line between recreational and technical diving. It is a continuum being one is the extension of the other.

You guys make the claim that it is dangerous, so why don't you guys provide the number and proof instead? So until you can provide the numbers and statistics that it is ubber-dubber dangerous, the claim is just as BS, I guess you are just haters then? Next.

No. There is no decompression for UTD Cave 2 (Full cave)either. I should know since I am UTD Cave 2 certified.

Nope. While there are certainly some type of caves that requires decompression, full cave certifications does not require them. Then again, GUE may have their own version of full cave.

Yes I did read your comments but the reasons you quoted was more in reference with RD and/or tech. So why would you not recommend UTD's cave programs?

Whether you agree with UTD or not, I agree with your POV.

    Question to the mods...

I am not worried at all. The thread will encourage their own investigation and they can arrive at their own conclusions based on the information they find themselves. Those who come will come. There are also those who ahave already formed their opinion, never mind if there are statistics to show...

You speak as if there were no Cave programs in UTD. Sure, RD may not be your cup of tea and I appreciate that, but have you compared both Cave programs to turn people away from Essentials if they are aspiring to cave dive?

Doesn't matter. Zero is Zero. Anyway you spin it, its still Zero.

Thank you for your candid response. Just a quick question: when you said using Ratio Deco, does that include using the standard gases that goes with Ratio Deco or was other gases used? I did a couple of tech dives at altitude with my group and we were high from the whiskey after the dives.
