    Jim Mims

I'm not on here much anymore, but for whatever reason went looking in this sub-forum and saw this. I knew Jim while working at a dive shop in Beerfield. Filled his tanks many times. Always had a pleasant conversation about what not, particular old gear and tanks. I did see him come in while he...

    Dormant EMC-20H

Nothing out there that I could find. I just opened both. There is an unsoldered block that connects the lcd unit to the other half of electronics. Both of mine have corrosion on contacts and the 'feet' of the block broke off on some. I am sure I can find a replacement on ebay or elsewhere...

    Dormant EMC-20H

Thx.. was not aware of limited service. I might open/sacrifice one of them. I have brought back old Uwatecs, maybe I will get lucky. ETA: not so lucky. That 'block' is a soldered header pin.

    tank tumbling media Emerundum

That's a lot of details, but I don't see anything about grit. I would assume because of its designed purpose, no need to mention. I use the CHICOMfreight AL Oxide, 70 grit. Keep in mind you have to use a lot in order to make any meaningful progress.

    Dormant EMC-20H

I have 2 Commander versions of these. AFAIK these aren't the ones with volatile memory. Stored with dead batteries. Installed new, good, batteries and nothing. I have tried removing/reinstalling and temporarily reversing top battery. Any help appreciated. I have reached out to mfg, but no...

    Weigh system for BP/W

I have switched a marseillaise freediving belt a while ago and love it. HATED wearing a nylon belt, but there is no comparison. Very comfortable. Very safe retention as well compared to the clasp style. Depending on tanks..anywhere from 4 to 14lbs.

Neck injury and Wing Style BCD

I have neck problems, but not as bad as you. I dont have a back inflate bcd anymore, and dive bp/w now. With both, all I do is keep my body at about 30d to look forward when criusing and horizontal when I am looking down. I roll to look up. Dive on.

    What tanks are these?

Seems that a lot of threads should be booted from this sub-forum as defined by some. Meh, no care.

    What tanks are these?

Wth am I looking at here? The SRP stamp is suspicious (old o2 bottle or something?) I don't have access to them, yet. That's a 13cf dropped in for comparison. Not worried about the neck size.

Failure of back-plate single tank adapter (Bolts)

I have had mine loosen, but that's it. If your plate is a DR/copy..ditch the adapter. I don't use one on my SS plate, only on an old ABS plate. Eta: Heaviest tanks I use are Faber 117s

How much air does an LP85 hold at 2400 PSI?

No..the stated volume is 75.8 at 2640 (with the +). Fuzzy pic taken with a potato lense, but its there..tank is narrow though.

How much air does an LP85 hold at 2400 PSI?

Yes. Actually 26.5" if I recall. This is why I made my post to begin with as it seems it is a match to the op's.
