    need new regs

I would go with what is available locally, (parts). Most anything out there is pretty good nowadays. Personal preference and your LDS are major factors. Sherwoods are good, reliable, nearly bullet-proof regs for sport divers. Zeagles are very tough and offer extremely high performance...

Wreck of The Inchulaz, (forgive spelling):

Does anyone know if anything is left of the Inchulaz (?) off Delray Beach. I know it got dregged several years ago and I wonder if anything is still there, (like the paddle wheel or the boiler)? Thanks!

    BCD for wrecks

My closest divebud and I use Zeagles. He has a Ranger and I use a Tec Pac. My other bud uses Diverite. (I like my Tec Pac so much I bought a second one)

    No redundant gas?

I've got a personal rule that I have lived by for 2000 dives, (deep, mix, under the ice, and cave diving, as well as openwater): If I'm diving solo beyond 60', (my personal comfort level for making a free ascent), I carry a redundant gas supply. If I'm diving beyond 100', (it doesn't matter...

how do you wear your mask????

Both. If I'm alone or with known or experienced divers I wear it over my hood so I can easily raise or remove it. If I'm with newer divers or divers I do not know I wear it under my hood so it can't be knocked off.

    Finding BC that fits...

Have you tried a Zena? It will probably fit you now and fit you later, (after the weight loss), as well with all of the adjustments.

    sherwood

Sherwood has been around a long time. They make their own regulators and valves. Their regs are almost bullet proof and will last for years and years and give good performance throughout the recreational sportdiving depths. Most of their regs offer moisture retention and great resistance to...

    1st Stage Freeze Up Prevention

IMO: There is a lot of confusion on reg freeze up, (although most of the posts here are great posts made by people I know and/or respect). Predive behavior, (and storage of equipment), has alot to do with regulator freeze up tendancies u/w. Demanding higher quantities of air from your regulator...

    Too Deep??

Diving deep can be a tool or vehicle to access more sites, more reefs, more wrecks, different fish, or to see things that just aren't at shallower depths. Deep diving can be a goal to strive toward attaining. Using increased experience, training, and equipment it can be a desired level to...

Dive Rite RG2000 Regs - Are they any good?

While this is one of the few I haven't owned or dived, I have talked to a few owners and I have heard NOTHING but good about them. Norm

    Zeagle BP/W

Absolutely no problems from either of mine. Three of my friends own them and ditto - no problems whatsoever! (One of mine has the plastic plate, the other anodized aluminum) They are built in-house, in southern Florida and are guaranteed forever. I hope I'm telling this right, (true story) : A...

Is there a current Sheck Exley?

In my opinion - no. Sheck was kind, low-key, low-profile, modest, and quiet. He listened to people and was likeable. He was way ahead of his time, as are many folks in other fields that pass on before their time. I do not think that there is, or shall ever be another Sheck Exley. Norm
