I have been diving for about 15 years, and only have OW. I am not opposed to taking other courses, but for the local quarry, OW seems to suffice. If/When I decide, or am able to dive more exotic places, AOW will possibly be something to consider...but I wouldn't bet on it.

Identifying problems before they can happen? I have never experienced a significant problem underwater, therefore I guess I am either very good at it, or just lucky! But seriously, the chance for a significant event is always present, even in the tame diving I do. So my son and I discuss...

I won a Sherwood Zodiac+ this weekend in a charity event. Does anyone have any experience with this BCD? I really don't think it will be my primary, but I intend to keep it as a back up.

I got one about a year ago. I love it! It is a little more bouyant than my old one (about 2lbs more weight), but is very comfortable. I recommend it.

I am a fatass, and also a sinker....but only if I stuff a few cannon balls in my BCD.
