10-12 dives after the course.....keep going buddy you'll get there. Personally I found the SM course to be pretty useless. I attribute that to the instructor. Find yourself a GOOD and REPUTABLE instructor, it'll make all the difference in the world and save you from the 50 or so dives it took...
I dove both....chose the Stealth Tec, no comparison IMHO. The quality of the Stealth I though was far superior. I dive dry, heavy undergarments, LP85's in cold dark water and I do not get the beach ball efffect. As someone else mentioned there is an easy fix that keeps the rear from rising...
Yeah....the sliding during thing is a waste. I do have the Stealth O-rings on my rig for AL tanks but all the other ones available are pretty much sitting on a drawer in my shop....good for not much.
Man....advice from Andy being called condescending and belligerent? That's madness but I guess there's all kinds. Tell you what, listen to what the guys says.....it's church as far as I'm concerned. Whether its an improvement to an existing system or otherwise (we are all aware that these...
I believe I ordered them online from somewhere down in the USA. It was one of the more popular online shops but I just can't remember the name at the moment, shouldnt be too hard to find. I have another set in BAR that I'll throw in with the regs if you want for free.
The swivels would not be included. Alone they are a couple hundred dollars. I'm currently out of town on business but will get you the shipping cost tomorrow if you are still interested. So, let me know please.
No hoses at all. I can throw some in though no problem. The reason I say no hoses ois that I just didn't want to go through the work lol. Plus, unless I buy new regs I always change the hoses to new ones for safety reasons.
No hoses or gauges. They were serviced in the spring of this year. 3 years old with 98% FW dives. A few minor cosmetic dings but function flawlessly. $1000, buyer pays for shipping.
Smells wrong in so many ways. Sounds like, and i may be wrong, but it sounds like poor protocol on the instructors part and an unwillingness on the students part to accept that proper training is by no means inexpensive. Sad part is there are hundreds of divers who probably had the same...
The way i see it is that there are all kinds of hypothetical situations and reasons to "not do" or "to do" are plentifull no matter what the technique or dive scenario. While there are a lot more experienced divers on here than I one would think that if someone were able to "sneak attack" you...
