    Where to stay

I have a group going to Cozumel over the week of NYE. We would like to stay at an all inclusive place (rooms, food, drinks, scuba). Is there such a place that includes Scuba & Drinks (I know, crazy combo right)? What would you recommend?

    Did you move for Scuba?

Sometimes I wish I was military because there are some great places you could go! But I also realize there are great sacrifices you have to make too. I completely respect those in the military! But I could move there yes!

    Did you move for Scuba?

Oh I know right where Boonville is! I drive by it on my way from Kansas City to St Louis. It's a lovely place (kidding!). That's great he's happy there. I on the other hand am growing more and more antsy to get out of here. There's a lot involved to me leaving but I have started the very...

What do you think about the society? What's it like? I'm not sure where Deerfield Beach is. ---------- Post added January 27th, 2013 at 04:04 PM ---------- What do you miss the most? ---------- Post added January 27th, 2013 at 04:05 PM ---------- Yeah it's knocked me on my butt for 5...

    Did you move for Scuba?

I am about 4 hours from the mine. I did dive it once and it wasn't really my thing unfortunately. I am seriously considering the move especially as I sit here inside the last 5 days because its so cold and I caught the flu. Is the flu very big in warmer climates?

    Did you move for Scuba?

Isn't the gulf right there on the panhandle? Is there not good diving in the gulf in the panhandle? Believe me, I'm good at looking at pet rocks, that's all I can look at after I make my 4 hour drive to the lake. Well there are a few fish, bass, blue gill and stuff like that. *yawn* good...

    Did you move for Scuba?

I'm loving reading this stuff! Keep it coming! I have to say I'm somewhat interested in the FL panhandle. I've heard there is good fresh water diving in some springs, the caves (which im not 100% i would do or not) and some good salt water dives as well. Is that right?

    Did you move for Scuba?

Right now...I have 5 more months left to live in my house before I can move. If I move before then I have to pay back the first time homebuyer tax credit. I'm in Kansas City! How crazy!

    Did you move for Scuba?

Yes, my sister lives in Austin. I may want to be closer to the ocean than Austin is. :) Lol! Thanks!

    Did you move for Scuba?

Hum...I live 4 hours from the nearest dive site that is more than 6" of vis. I dive about 4 to 5 times a year. It makes me sad thinking of how little I dive and I'm tossing around the thought of moving, but I don't have a particular reason to move any particular place...I just know I want more...

Have you moved so that you can dive more or in better conditions? If so, where did you move? How far did you move to get there? Are you glad you did it?

Could you have done this at 30 dives?

Awesome! It makes me want to go jump in the pool right now!

The first dive is an adjustment dive

Since it's such a pain in the butt to upload pics on here, I just changed my avatar :) ---------- Post added December 6th, 2012 at 07:55 PM ---------- Thanks for all the suggestions. Yes I do have some of my own gear. I have a 3mm wetsuit, but that won't work in cold water. I have my...

The first dive is an adjustment dive

Yeah, 8 pounds is a lot for sure! That happened because of a miscalculation of the weight I had on. We added wrong. Lol. In the water I was like, crap! I cannot stay up!!!! I readded after the dive and realized I was ridiculously over weighted. I do have an added change you really can't...

The first dive is an adjustment dive

Yes! You're exactly right! Sometimes it's just those little things that you want to adjust, move this here, move that there. Shift weight to this location or whatever, but almost always that first dive I'm thinking, shoot, I don't like that the way it is. And I want a redo. Ha

The first dive is an adjustment dive

I've been thinking over something and come to a conclusion...my first dive is just going to be an adjustment dive. I don't get to dive very often. The closest dive location is 4 hours away and typically people dive that site from May until September/October. So, I try to sneak in a couple...
