Thanks, of course we are. Shark protection is a very important issue. We actually received some really good input from one of the people involved in the Project and are using some of the data and info provided by Project Shark in our presentation so we can make sure we educate more people. And...

It is now possible to take this course in combination with...

    Week in Bali March 2012

Hi there, Just to come back to your malaria question. Bali does not have any malaria issues, so that makes it easy ;-) I always recommend people to do a dive safari. It means everything will be organised for you and you get to see the best sites on the island. Either way, enjoy your planning...

    Bali In January

I agree with Absoluteamanda. Diving is still definitely worthwhile in the rainy season. It is also less likely to be busy which is a great advantage. Rainy season here usually means one shower a day, quite often in the evening. So land-based activities are also not much of a problem.

    Snorkelling in Tulamben

Hi Ardy, You can also take a look at Coral Garden dive site, about 20 meter east of the Liberty wreck. It is a very shallow dive site, has a lot of marine life and a perfect place to some snorkelling. Have fun on your trip!

Seeking advise: BALI - Nusa Dua more specifically

Hi there, Yes there are quite a few sites accessible from Sanur: Nusa Penida is about 45 minutes by boat. It is probably not the best place to start for your wife if she is just new to diving, but it is famous for its Manta Point with a high chance of spotting mantas. Padang Bay is...

    Diving in Bali in April

Hi, The visibility is impacted during the rainy season, but it will still be pretty good. When we dived at Menjangan last week, the dives were still great, even though the visibility was not as good as you would expect later during the year. Menjangan is actually the nicest when there is a...

    Bali in June/July

Hi, Yes, you would change hotels every couple of days, but you are actually looking at about 3/4 different locations depending on your preference. You would definitely need an overnight stay up north to dive places like Menjangan, Pemuteran and Puri Jati. Then another 1 or 2 days in the...

    Diving in Bali in April

Hi there, I think there are a couple of options. You could use Sanur as a base for your dives on Nusa Penida. The trip to Nusa Penida is about 35-50 minutes by boat depending which location you go to and normally you could be back around 1 or 2 o'clock. You could do your AOW in Sanur as well...

    Bali in June/July

Hi there, It depends a bit how experienced a diver you are. Tulamben, Padang Bai and Menjangan are great locations for diving regardless of your experience. If you are more experienced, Nusa Penida is a must dive location, chances to see the Mola Mola are highest here and Manta Point is a...

Bali with non-diver wife. Luxury? Snorkel?

Hi there, It also depends on what you are looking for for the rest of your holiday. Is just a beach enough or would you also like to have easy access to restaurants and other activities? Most activity is really in the South of the island and not so much in the East or North. You can do...

    Bali dive trip

Hi there, You could also consider staying in Pemuteran rather than Menjangan, there are more options to choose from. I stayed at the Aneka Bagus hotel in Pemuteran before which I really liked, but there are many alternatives there. You can easily dive on Menjangan from there and Pemuteran...

    Limited Time In Bali

Hi there, I have to agree I am afraid. Unfortunately there are not so many options if you just have one afternoon. You could consider one dive in the Sanur area, but the best dive sites on Bali are day trips really. If you are looking for a longer trip in April it might be worthwhile to...

    Bali in Early Feb

Hi, I cannot agree more, the weather in Bali can be very unpredictable. Last year in December it was beautiful and gorgeous weather. However at the moment it is raining pretty bad for a couple of days now. Maybe that will mean the weather will be great next year in Feb, who knows... ;)...

    indonesia trip; starting questions

Hi Sonar, Hope I can answer most of your questions. First of all, diving in Bali is absolutely brilliant - but maybe I am prejudiced as we are about to open our dive center here ;-) The variety of dive sites is immense here. If you want more action packed dives, the Nusa Penida area is...

    Komodo

Hi there, Bali has some great diving to offer. So I would definitely add on some dives in Bali. Each side of the island has a different type of diving, so it depends a bit on your preference which part is best. Nusa Penida/Nusa Lembongan As already mentioned above it is mola mola...
