    log book

yep, thats my experience also. I worked as a DM guiding dives in SE Asia and sometimes divers would turn up with 8000 dives. We'd take them on a dive for the first dive and then if we could see that they werent gonna be a liability they could really do what they want. If they started going into...

advice on first and second stage ScubaPro regs?

actually just checked and the price difference is less than I thought. c300 is about 25% more expensive, but thats only about £40($60). The guy from my local shop said I can pop in and try them all for myself so will report back. but yeah, looking like the m11 / c300 combo at the moment.

advice on first and second stage ScubaPro regs?

yep, sticking to price point. thanks for the replies guys. So at the moment I guess the opinion is that the the most expensive combination is the best and the cheapest is no good due to it being unregulated. has anyone experience of diving the r395 vs the c300 ? can the r395 be tuned by...

cheers scooby - that's some good food for thought. Hopefully you are right and I can probably make it through leaning on the IT skills. are there jobs for freshly qualified Divemasters?

yep, I hope so Andy. I did send out some emails to some IDC's offering IT in exchange for instructor training and got one reply from 80 emails, but he wanted me to commit to a two year contract. And I dont feel ready for that kind of commitment. Also (probably rather naively) suddenly thought -...
