We are discussing "Scuba Junkies" rather than "Current Junkies".
That said, I have been on the Busy Girl with Current Junkies and had the exact opposite experience as you describe. The boat was clean, professional, and anything but conservative. I absolutely loved Current Junkies/Busy Girl...
Just booked tickets to SEA for February 2025 and I am trying to decide between Scuba Junkies for a week or so, vs a mid-ranged southern Komodo liveaboard.
Wondering if Scuba Junkies Komodo is a good option for February being that it's land-based and the better diving is in the south during...
We recently went and had construction going on below our balcony for our stay. We were facing inland, second level. Even with the construction, there was no issue with noise whatsoever. Non-issue and I would happily stay there again.

My wife and son are both non-divers. We are planning a return trip for next year and are booking Iberostar. Looks to be best suited for our needs as a diver and non.
Been looking to add some additional safety items to my kit for an upcoming Indo trip.
I was looking at the Hyper Whistles at 142 decibels. Looks a little bulky but should fit fine in my pocket.
I just sold my Halcyon stick. I found it was not long enough for me to keep my long hose secure. Might be due to using the end turret port on my mk25. I'm now just tucking it without issue.
I exclusively use North Face Base Camp duffels for all my dive trips. I have the small, medium, large, and xl depending on the trip. Never had an issue. I do carry on my mask, computer, and regs.
My most memorable dive will always be The Hardeep AKA SS Suddhadib off Samaesarn in Thailand. Just south of the Sattahip Naval Base.
It was 2002 and I was leading a group of tech divers as a fresh DM on the dive. I remember I had never seen backplates and wings and thought these guys were...
If you don't have a local dive shop, Air Tech in North Carolina does good work. I have had regs serviced there in the past.
I would just replace the inflators with new ones from DGX. Likely cost less than a paid service.
I have had a few long layovers at Incheon. I usually grab a hotel room at the airport hotel in terminal 1 and grab some noodles at the shop outside. Catch up on sleep, take a shower, and get some work done on my laptop.
My wife knows me well enough to know I need to dive to keep from going crazy. She supports me 100%. Hoping once my son is old enough we can all dive together. Until then Im doing solo trips around the world.
