Hey, haven't been diving for a year and a half. We decided to come back to Cozumel for a week.
Hope the weather is nice for diving and beach. Not too worried about the heat as we live in Fort Lauderdale. I usually dive with Jeremy with Living Underwater and stay at El Cantil but this time at the...
We will be staying at the Intercontinental Presidente arriving on July 31 and leaving August 7th. I am planning on diving 4 or 5 days. I usually dive with Jeremy with Living Underwater but I don't think he has customers at that time and I am diving solo so I will need to find another...
You must be a glutton for punishment. I can't imagine one day in either place. do you know from Cebu City a bus can take 4.5 hours to Maya. Next you have to negotiate a boat to Malapascua, then 1/2 hour boat ride. Get your bearings, hotel, dive shop. That could take the better part of a day.
You have too much going on in three weeks. I would cut Manila down to a couple of nights, its not one of my favorite places to visit. El Nido isn't really known for great diving, I done it, however the town is very cool. If it was me and I had 3 weeks. I would do Manila to Alona Beach...
who cares about padi certification. Verde Island diving can be deep and or strong currents. That is why most dive operators recommend it for experience divers. Dont push it get a little more experience, 5 dives is like nothing.
My new wife just got certified a year ago December. she has...
this thread is turning into a bunch of BS. There are some dive shops on the island that charge a lot less than Evolution. I don't believe that any shop that charges less than Matt is compromising quality. Don't make this guy sound like he is a cheap skate. I have been there 3 times and I...
Seems like some of you are a little hard on the poster. There are a few good dive shops that charge less than Evolution. I'm not saying Evolution isn't worth what they charge but there are other options.
Seaquest has a dive shop in Malapascua. I have dove with them there and their shop at...

I sent emails to Raul and Jeremy. So far Raul was the only one to write back. Sounds like either one will be good for us. Colodale when in November will you be there? The 60 mm macro is a great lens add a flip diopter for supermacro
Thank you for the link to that tread, excellent review and discussion

Up until my last trip I had used the Olympus 60mm macro (2x with 4/3rds so it acts like a 120mm ff) or the Panasonic 8mm fisheye. Both very specific for their...
Hi All,
this November my wife and I are going to COZ for the first time. We are staying at El Cantil next to the Palace. I am an experienced UW photographer and will be bringing my SLR.... My favorite is macro photography. This year we did Roatan, Turks and Caicos and Belize and I wasn't...
I'm pulling this item from sale. This morning I was checking it out, turning it on and off. The switch was sticking and eventually stopped working. I am going to send it back for a replacement. I suspect that will take a few weeks. I will repost later.

Received a replacement V3 and never dove with it because my new Nauticam housing has one built in. This one has never been wet, includes electronics and pump. This one fits in a Nauticam housing. Leak Sentinel, pre dive vacuum leak detector for underwater housings
Original cost is $267...
