Hi all, I have done almost all of my diving in guam where lighting is a rarity. In my DM/AI trainin we never metioned anything about lighting. I have done a few dives in Guam during some storms but was told that once your underwater you are safe because the water scatters the lightings...

I think that leaving soap on it all night will work but its a little overkill unless its a new mask. I use Sea Drops or Sea Gold and a wet mask doesnt really matter all that much. Usually if my mask is already wet i mix a little spit in with the sea drops and that works great.
